Tragic waste of a perfectly good ZR1. I may not drive mine much, but when I do, I make sure to give her a good flogging. TomC "Crabs"

Re: Who Needs Friends Like these
I dont think so. This is my first NCRS type of car. I will try for a top flight award. It's just a different side of the sport ( racing, showing, gatherings , NCRS). It's also VERY cool to open the doors and smell that 1989 new leather car smell. |

Re: Who Needs Friends Like these
I spoke to the Tennessee dealer that had this car and the 366 mile car back in March.
He was firm at $48K for each at that time. |

It just seems like such a waste of a thoroughbred that was built to "Run". And as all of us can attest to, the ZR1 loves to be driven. The harder the better. My '90 had 9600 miles when I bought her a few years ago. She's now up to 11,500. She still smells new every time I get in and drive her, which admittedly isn't all that often. But every time I do drive her, it takes days for the Permagrin to wipe off of my face. TomC "Crabs"

Re: Who Needs Friends Like these
Dont worry about. I'm not a waxer.
My first Polo Z had 60 or 65K on it, AB Z has just over 30K The totaled 91 Red Z had 60K on it when I bought it, then roped the passenger door close and drove it almost 60 miles. This 1990 will NOT be driven by me. It's like my wife said " It's as pretty as a 4 carrot diamond " You would not write on the back of the Declaration of Independence , just because you need a piece of paper This car is History. you can not go buy a new one from GM agian. This one is untitled. It still is in MSO GM |
