Re: Cam Cover Emblem
Ok, guys.... I want to show you how I am refinishing these emblems.
First of all here is a picture showing the 90 emblem, my emblem and then the 91-95 emblem Now, I might be willing to do some 90 emblems, but I need to test out painting a maroon background and a gold chevy emblem. On the 91-95, I am not a 10 year old asian, nor do my hands function like one. So tracing the chevy emblem in a red outline is almost out. My fix was to fill the chevy emblem in solid red, which as you can see is a nice touch and really pokes out. Is this satisfactory for you guys? |

Go to a hobby store and buy a wide tip paint pen in red. I have found that the wide tip allows me to follow the edge of the raised outline.

Re: Cam Cover Emblem
Good idea...as a matter of fact, you could send mine without any paint on the bowtie...I have the stuff to do it myself since one of my other hobbies is fine scale military models...I have all the equipment.
