Re: Got clawed
Bought it "new" on eBay $275, (more like a factory blemish)
Inspect the inside for loose powdercoat, paint...poor prep work. Didn't return it since mine needs to be stripped & refinished anyway to match engine color, like was previously installed by a previous owner. Filter elements came blue, so need to change that to red. The K&N recharge kit has red dye.20180619_225003.jpeg20180619_225106.jpeg20180619_225147.jpgIMG_5840.jpeg Sent from my SM-N920V using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app

Got clawed
At first I had just a rubber cap from local auto parts, but later bought a SAMCO cap. I couldn’t find the part number, but if you want silicone it will be called a blanking cap and you just need the measurement of the fitting. You want it tight fitting and no clamp necessary if so. Re: Got clawed
If it's not too much trouble to get the Samco cap part Number...it would be much appreciated!
Thank You, John |

Re: Got clawed
Actually my apology and had to edit the typo from reply on phone. I’m in Hawaii and away from my car in Japan or I could measure and tell you what cap you need. If you have a micrometer you can measure the inlet pipe OD to get the ID of the plug you need. I won’t be back for another week. Hopefully someone else will reply with the part number. Searches on the interweb did not work for me. Best wishes.
