One in Maui is still there isn't it? Was last time I was there...NHRA sanctioned even. Only REAL Drag guy I know, personally, from the Isalnds is Roland Leong, he tells me the Drag scene is lame...overall .

Yes, there is one in Maui, one on Kauai and two on the Big Island of Hawaii. Oahu, the main island with over 80% of the 1.3 million population has no race track and I had hopes when we had the Super Ferry and even did a recon to ensure the ZR-1 could get up the ramps but that got shut down too due to environmental issues, etc. I think there are some folks that are still using some other ships to get to the outer islands to drag race according to the local motorsports news that I read. Roland Leong would be right and that is why he went big time in the West Coast and left the islands to become a pro when he was young. I have hopes there will be a track on Oahu again in the next few years.
