Yes yes! Details! Price?

Is it laminated? Where is it made?

i have to disagree. i purchased one and although it does have a cutout that is hardly noticable it is far from what i would consider something that only ncrs judges could tell from oem.
i was told that the only diff would be the lack of or misplacement of the "kooloff" logo and to be honest i could care less if it said made in japan since the logo is as big as my fingernail. =)
but what did bother me was that the first thing that was noticed is that the glass is not laminated in purple , if it didnt have the cutout you wouldn't be able to tell it is laminated at all. even next to a regular car it still does not look much diff. my oem looked purple from a mile away.(purple windshield is kinda one of the zr-1 givaways)
aside from that there was also major distortion in it and waves that could be seen and felt ,maybe i just got a bad one out of the batch. i just wish the product was represented moreso what it really is.
the company that makes them is a VERY good company(same company that made the glass for my porsche)
i dont see why it is soo difficult to make it the correct colour, the olds sillouette vans have them, the pontiac minivans have them, the old caprice wagons have them and none of them have delamination problems.....

If I didn't have to pick it up in Baltimore, I'd take one for my 91. Any way of getting it shipped to Atlanta?

Problem is, who would take responsibility if it was broken from Baltimore to Atlanta.

Trying to work it all out.... I would LOVE to have one of these as a spare, but how much drama will it be to get them here and hwo much will it eventually cost.

Hopefully we will have a breakdown soon

Glad to hear someone comment on this. I wondered about the purple coloring of these aftermarket ones. I love that feature of the OEM one:

And that is the crux of the issue. Shipping the glass once in the states.

I have a shipper that uses UPS freight. I've got a call into them to see if they can answer this question.

If there is a way to have them boxed up and make it reasonable for people wanting windshields, great!!!!!
