Re: Injector machining done.
A ball gauge might be nice to have for some things but I use telescoping gauges most often.

Re: Injector machining done.
I believe you do, Robert. I consider you to be one of the top 2 or 3 LT-5 porters out there from what i've seen. Your on top of your game, again, from what i've seen. I don't like a ball gauge for the fact 70-80% of the time i'm laying out/printing a port, i will bias the port to one side or the other depending on 'A Lot' of criteria i'm going after. To me, with the ball deal, all a person can really do is size, not shape. The original point i was trying to make is/was, don't spend a bunch of time chasing down a 'Ball' & holding up the project. If you want/have to use a ball go ahead, but don't hold things up for it. A lot of guys know i come on here to 'NOT' talk about engines, i do that enough daily, just trying to quickly point out something to help your project along .

Re: Injector machining done.
I agree with not letting it hold up the project. And I know it doesn't have to be held within .001 like the stuff I have to make at work. I am really ready to get the show on the road and get it done. Right now the temps are cool enough to work in the garage. But when its 100 degrees with 80% humidity it really sucks. I'm going to finish it during this 3 day weekend.

Re: Injector machining done.
No problem Pete. I'll run a batch of 5 of each size. I'm thinking maybe $25 a piece. That covers the price of the material and a little labor. Not really trying to make any money off of them. Just doing favors for my freinds on the netregistry. They will last forever and never rust.

Re: Injector machining done.
If you are going to make some ball gauges may I suggest starting with 34 or 35mm and going up from there. It's better to be able to check your work as you go rather than realizing you are out of shape at 36. Might be interested in buying some if you make up a batch, never hurts to have more tools in the arsenal. Can I get a set for three easy payments of just $9.99
Thanks for the compliment Ryan, hope you make it down for our event this year.

I also want the 3 easy payments Rick, will it have smooth surface? I will take the 37mm ball let me know when it's done. I would also prefer to thread it and use a screw instead of a chain. I have 35,36, & 36.5 need to add 37. Pete
