watch out for the aftermarket key fob cases, they break the electronics!!! bree that helped design those in the day told me this and yes before i met her i did exactly that..broke the electronics with the aftermarket case

So, the car arrived today...2 fobs and neither worked. I changed the batteries and went through the reprogramming process in the manual. It appears one took the reprogram and is now functioning...sort of. The other didn't seem to work (and the reprogram light didn't stop blinking when brought into range).
The one that did reprogram seems to work sort of. When I approach the car it does not unlock and when I walk away it does not lock. But, when the hatch button is pressed the hatch does pop and when the door button is pressed the passenger door unlocks. With some presentence, the driver side unlocked too. Any thoughts? |
