Only 1% of US men are 6’4” or taller, so with the 5 extra inches of movement and given other variables, the 1% estimate may not be far off.

The guy in front of me in line at Carlisle got in and out and said it was fine. He was probably 6'4" and 240 lbs.
My dad sat in it and thought it was comfortable, he's 6'1" 220 lbs. His comment was that the C5 feels like the the roomiest of the modern corvettes. I'm a little guy, so they all feel roomy...lol. I will say that the C8 cockpit definitely wraps around you more, which I personally like. If you don't like that, or you have any claustrophobic tendencies, the C8 will "feel" small. It doesn't feel as open as a C5 or C7 (haven't sat in a C6). If you are an old school, flat dash, straight across kind of guy, the C8 will feel weird. I would think maybe a bit less for C4 owners as we have the most cramped cockpits anyway. The C8 definitely has the racecar/supercar driver oriented cockpit. |
