Smile Hog; Powershift?

These things can be powershifted????

Of course they can as seen in a Chev promotional video. The guy WAILS on the shufter while doing some acceleration tests.

A quick view of the video I am speaking of is shown in this video with a properly executed ZF powershiuft being executed at 0:56.

I think the "guy" wailing on it is Jim Ingles, code name "Jingles". He did all the validation testing which included beating the crap out of the clutch and ZF-6. He's the reason Chevrolet could quote 1/4mile times none of us would be able to reach and not void the warranty.
Pete met him last year when Dave McClellan asked Pete if he powershifted his ZR. Pete said no, and McClellan called Jingles over.

Yes, and I know he has received his share of comments about it, which I am sure he tires from hearing. It probably looked more violent than it was...and maybe he knew he was being filmed.

-One thing for sure, if anyone knows who he is, they aren't going to question his driving ability.
