Craig I can sure second that--and I mean both parts. Haibeck 500 package and some ther fixes/mods should get the car back in a few weeks, just in time to put it up on the rack for the rest of the winter. Looking forward to Spring!--Bob

because i believe they cost at least 10 hp compared to the jeals/ corey headers . the pipe lengths go from 10 to 22 in compared to coreys/ jeals 18 - 22 in. and his collector has a nice gradual decrease compared to the stainless works .which look like a small bowl then going into a 3 in pipe . my black car went from 110 at the strip to 114.5 with the header change .from stk to jeals and the callaway car went from 113.5 to 116. with the stainless works . i know that isnt the perfect info , i wish i had the 600 in fuel to take the white car back to coreys for a redyno after doing the headers to get an actual dyno figure comparo but i didnt have time to do a before and after at his place . installed the headers at bill bs on the way home .bottem line for me is i want the best piece i can put on my car and coreys headers were to me the best out there.jmho

So 2.5mph with the SW's and 4.5 with the Jeals.

Was there any exhaust changes at all, or are these purely header results.
Was the weather close for the B4's and afters?

Comparable 1/4 mile mph results are just as good and sometimes better for hp comparison purposes than some of the chassis dyno info out there IMO.

Thanks for sharing.

peace

no the changes were headers only . the black car had a flowmaster exhaust and the white car a corsa at the time of the changes . also a big plus with coreys headers is it comes with everything needed to hook up your exhaust and extensions for the o2 sensors.

Brad,

Did you connect the Corey headers to the Corsa or switch that out as well?

Bob that sounds awesome and that is what I'm lacking right now is a good tune from one of the masters to maximize the power from the mods...........

cominic , when i switched out the stk exhaust to the stainless works headers the car had the corsa exhaust.the mile an hr increase on my previous post was with the corsa exhaust . later on i switched out the corsa for a exhaust that i made myself .i do have a recent dyno session with corey after we got rid of the secondaries but still had the stainless works exhaust. i did not get a chance to do the header change out @ coreys as time ran out .i have since installed coreys headers . i could do a somewhat local dyno session to see the improvement but it wouldnt be the same dyno as coreys. but would be a dyno jet which is what coreys is .i wish i had the money to go to coreys and do another dyno session with him. but 1600 miles is a long way to go for that and i just dont have those type of funds at this time . . i am planing on going to the drag strip in early feb (famoso) where i normally run and can report the results of that if you like .i do like the no secondary change alot plus seem to get about 1.5 mpg better on the freeway with it .
