Really interesting stats on page 5. Test 1 is the net hp, as installed with fixed calibration. In researching this, test 3 has optimized spark timing ("mbt"), but standard fueling (12:1 or even richer). Conclusion - in stock trim, there is virtually no difference due to spark advance.

Test 4 has optimized spark and fuel (Leanest Best Torque). Here there is a small gain over the baseline of 4 lb-ft and 1 hp.

Test 20 is with synonymous headers and optimized calibration.

Great info. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting things... Fuel was race fuel 103 octane for the LT1 and 98 octane for the LT5.

Did you catch the Engineers names for the LT5 test. Both names appropriate...

Thanks for sharing.

I've spent hours talking to the NCM and GM lawyers....

They aren't even interested to hear a valid arguement about why it's worth releasing them. (even selling them)

I'd actually be interested in a copy as well if it's possible.

Ignorance is bliss... I don't really need to know what my particular engine put out, but it would be interesting to know what the variation from unit to unit would be (much of which would likely be cam timing variations).

Like I said, not really losing sleep over this one.
