You probably have one of the injector wires squeezed between the plenum & injector housing. It happens. Look at the wires to each injector. You can see if the wires are loose & free without pulling the plenum.

ALLRIGHT,..The INJ hasnt popped since I changed it... when I got the car, it was not running,...I put it back together and started it to see the issue first hand...it RAN, albeit for a short time.

OMG!!!!!!!!!
 ...Rich and I were trying to get my tire valve changed,...AND IT HIT ME!!!...WHICH SIDE IS 2,4,6,8????? I thought it was the drivers side...I even asked a couple of post's back.......We found that it was the passengers side!!!...I immediately said..."dude..I think the wires are reversed!......  we rushed back,....swapped the wires and like a sleeping dragon she fired...ANGRY-PISSED OFF AND UNHAPPY (because we haven't fully set all the vacuume and gaskets on the plenum... But...its running!(sort of)....and loud as hell with just OBX headers!..  tomorrow I am going to install all the last gaskets/vacuum. So I may be able to finally post a conclusion to the rebuild..but i HAVE TO GET THE BEAST UNDER CONTROL!!....AND TEST HER.. IRENE LIVES TO EAT RICER'S ANOTHER DAY!
