Put another 500 miles on mine yesterday driving home from Cedar Rapids, IA. Got 20mpg on the first tank.
It was hotter than hell out here in the plains yesterday, saw 104 at one point, but the A/C worked perfectly.
Oh, and they raised the speed limit on the interstates in KS to 75 finally, made the cruise from KC to Wichita a little quicker cruising at 83.

God, I love this car and can't imagine not driving it.

Dave, I am with you I passed on a Millennium Z06 to buy the Callaway body ZR1, I dont believe I will ever regret my decision. I thoroughly enjoy driving my ZR1 every chance I get.
If you bought a ZR1 for a investment, I suggest you hire a financial consultant.

Heck, I paid for her, and I darn well am going to use her!

But....to some one else she ain't worth much, but I don't care about that because I bough her and I can't put a price on all those miles of smiles I've had with her. I guess I'm just not cut out to be a collector car owner!

Tom
I just got back from 4 day trip to Toronto - put about 1200 miles over Pennsylvania turnpie, I-79, I-90,I-190 and QE highway. I forgot to check but started out with about 118,000 - must be getting close to 120,000 - just breaking in.

If all I was looking for is an investment I would never have bought my ZR-1, it was built to be driven like any Vette was. I took mine out to Deadwood a few weeks ago and had a blast, I did one run at 156 mph but had to let off in 5th because I was catching a pickup truck fast. I wanted to see just how fast I could get up to but there was just too much traffic on the Wyoming/Montana border. I will be taking mine to the track in Cedar Rapids in a month for some autocross practice again, now that's some fun.

I love the comments on this thread! I take my ZR-1 to a few car shows during the Summer, I usually take my C3 and my 04 supercharged C5. People always ask which one I like best,,,, my reply, all of them! But if I had to choose it would always be the Z!

COOL! My wife's 91 is #0068

She's put more miles on it in the last 2 years than she did the first 7 years she owned it.
