Re: What is the largest CI that LT5 can be built to with stock crank?
Didn't want to be the first...I know three guys that dealt with him that live in SoCal, they didn't have good experiances, their stuff turned out O.K., but he's a flake to deal with. One of my piston suppliers said the same thing, in the past.

I've had issues in the past with him as well. Wanted parts and then disappeared. |

Thanks for all the comments and info. I will share with the Z owner in Japan and hopefully he can find some resolution. Boy, I thought I was challenged being here in Hawaii and I can't imagine having the Z over there and also have language barriers as well as twice or three times the shipping costs that I am always complaining about.

Not a bad price...Lot's of work involved, no welding, factory GM head gasket, not bad. Just need a head/cams to take advantage of the added displacment, otherwise a person is wasting their time.

So I'm not gonna get a pity from you.........it's really tough living in paradise. Yes, I need to appreciate the awesome weather and will surely miss it when and if I move next year after retirement from the military. Please visit some day. The few times that I went to Canada I loved it and thought it was beautiful up there; you folks must have awesome places for driving. All I can do is go round and round the island........no triple digits either; get caught going over 85 and you are in handcuffs on this island. |
