I know where there are 2 blue 88 prototypes. Not sure he has deep enough pockets for one but the other HMMMM.

gotcha, so that is when the order sheet is printed, how do you find when it was built..

wouldn't that be the 92nd day where do the other 10 days go? They use the julian day callender am I right?

the 92nd day of 88 was friday april 1st.

Mine was Jan of 1990

My understanding is that most Corvettes are built very near the date printed on the build sheet, but these ZR-1 pilots appear to have been built 3 weeks after their sheets were printed. On yours the dealer invoice will show for sure. Shows build date, ship date. and arrival.

There is a build date calculator out there somewhare that you can enter the vin and see the production date. For the EX units you would need the vin of the preceeding car or kick in behind car vin.

Just gave Corvettes White George a tour of the 89s today. Great meeting him and learning more about the two. I tell you what the more members of the Registry I meet the more I realize what a great group this is. Eric
