I just received my 1990 emblems from Lee. They look fantastic!!!!

Real quality and perfectly produced.

I highly recommend these emblems.

I will have them on display at the maintenance sessions in my garage today, (Thursday), and Sunday when we replace Darrin's rear spring. Come on by and see them.

Lee, Did you get any emblems made that are not curved? I would like some to attach to my tool box and to plaques.

The Corvette emblem change for the 1991 MY. It used to have a gold chevy bowtie sitting in a field of red. For '91, it was just a red outline bowtie in a field of black.

Pete also was given a set of test GEN IIs....I think the fit is good...I will let him confirm.

Thanks Lee
These are very very nice the price makes them even nicer.
I compared it to my stock 1991 piece you can see the differance but since the OE's are NLA i will keep them in the vault they're my 401k plan

Again for the price they are high quality pieces

Having some issues with the coating. VHT flameproof is satin so not as shiney but goes on easy, VHT caliper for some reason either turns out perfect....thick and glossy or it films over and ruins the checkered flag. I have toasted 10 emblems messing with these coatings. I sent VHT a note asking them WTF. I also sent eastwood a note to get there advice.

Since I started working on the hoses, I am beginning to wonder if when I asked if the paint could hold up to 225-300 degress if I was talking F and they were thinking C. Big Difference. One of the emblems on my 90 does not have any coating on the checks and it is mint. I need to ask again, I might be wasting my own time.

I should get 20-30 emblems completed this week and will be e-mailing those with orders. Sorry this is such a PITA but I want it to be right for everyone.

I have about 3 sets of emblems that are flawed, these are emblems which were coated in VHT flameproof which turned out to be too flat, and then coated in VHT caliper. The white was slightly tinged(yellow), but is only noticed when held up close.

I am currently using VHT engine paint with no issues.

If you are interested in a set of the flawed emblems....they are $8 per emblem plus shipping. Flaws would not show in pics.

Any updates on when you'll have the newer model emblems available? I wanted 2-3 sets for a '94.

I just sent a note to the vendor, it is a national holiday in China....actually last 2 weeks. Hopefully it will be soon, as they already charged me for 100 91-95 emblems. I also asked her to confirm the heat range on the paint they use.

Thanks, they are not bad for the price.

By the way for anyone using RTV, the stuff sticks like an SOB. I went to take my old emblems off and it a pain in the azz. I may have used too much. So when applying don't go crazy!
