Saaaaaweeeet :-) Very nice

How much room do you have under your Z for maintenance? Is the lifts main purpose to give you one more parking spot?

Hey Michael,
Did you have the link to those step by step directions on the lift setup?

Thanks
Rich

Height of the columns was of major concern... could not do a two post lift due to ceiling height (would have had to cut holes into the ceiling drywall to install two post lift)... so I needed a four post lift that had columns that were 84" and that would allow 1 1/2" clearance as the garage door was raised. Many four post lifts have 86"-88"+ columns and then I found the Direct Lift had the dimensions I wanted (column height is 83 1/2" which includes the cable adjuster nut).

Also the more I read about lift certifications (or lack there of) that came important too...Direct Lift (and Bend Pak lifts) have all the newer certs including 3rd party certifications>>

Yep...a nice addition but once you have a lift (this lift replaces my earlier Snap On scissor style lift) you wonder how you did without one.

Rich...check your email.

Height under car... close to 5' when at its highest position (meaning with mechanical locks engaged)

My primary intent is to use the lift as a service lift... as of this stage can not get my C6 under the ZR (C6 is kept in my neighbors garage since he only has 1 car), but with some modifications to garage door and ceiling can accommodate the lift as a two car storage lift.

the alum ramps are a great idea. I need to do that

I've been "stacking vettes" and love having the lift.

trying to do a garage project for a bit more room. if you all know any good builders and concrete folks in NOVA please let me know.

I'd like to have both a 4 post and a 2 post. they both have nice advantages.

thanks!
