The fan doesn’t seem to have much velocity it stays at about level 4 or 5 and doesn’t go fast even on 10. It might be a high speed fan relay. My dad and I are also toying with the idea that it might be low on r12 and icing in the expansion valve causing the evaporator too ice up too. I am comparing it to my 84 vettes ac which has been converted with r134 and its no were close too it in speed and cool.

The advantage of Tonys Corvette Shop is he is likely to have any parts that might be needed. He often requires you to make an appointment far in advance. If you tell him the situation, he is likely to help you out. After rush hour, Gaithersburg, Md is about a 40 minute ride from you. Contact info can be found at:

Dave, I don't know sqat about A/C but if you are in Woodbridge, Coopers Corvettes (703) 445-1483 is not far from you in Dumfries, about 10 miles south. The have done some work for me and have done good work.

Your symptoms usually means a bad blower motor. They are cheap and available at any discount auto parts store. There could also be plugged airways or non opening doors. I'd go with the motor.
