I agree completely, his prices are way, way over inflated. I mean, seriously, $389 for a standard vacuum hose kit?? It's small plastic hoses and rubber pieces. He has no respect for the ZR1 community and seems like he just wants to squeeze every dollar out of us that he can.

I will not be giving him any business unless I just can't get it anywhere else. Which is what he is counting on probably.

I was thinking about going with Jeff. The powder coating work that I've seen of his looks really nice.

Cuz at some point down the road I might have to take them off and I'll be confronted with it again. Speaking of gaskets Jerry I'm going to have to order some from you. And all of the injector Orings.

1.) All Injector Orings.
2.) Air horn gasket.
3.) Throttle body gasket.
4.) Two 90 degree breather hoses(mine were as hard as a rock).
I've already got injector housing gaskets.
Here's what you need, including what is necessary for cam cover removal.

#17112267 Gasket Set, Throttle Body 90~95
#10168684 Gasket, Intake Plenum (1/32") Set of 2 90~95
#10168677 Gasket Set, Coolant Outlet Tube 90~95
#10067600 Seal, Fuel Injector, Lower Primary (o-ring) 90~92
#17112222-24 Fuel Injector Uppers & Secondary (usually come with new injectors. Order only if yours do not)
#10110955 Seal, Crankcase Air Tube to Cam Cover (o-ring) 90~95
#10067538 Seal, Cylinder Head Cam Cover @ Spark Plug (o-ring) 90~95
#10138581 Seal Set, Cam Cover Bolt (dowty washer) 90~95
#51831 Loctite 518, Cam Cover Sealant (buy local cheaper, buy from me if you want the convenience)

BTW, I don't handle the hoses.

Just go to the website & order when you're ready. If you have any questions at all, just let me know. jerry@jerrysgaskets.com

By P/P I assume you mean plenum pull, not port and polish.
As long as she's opened up, why not send the top end
to Locobob for porting and polishing? He works with Jeff
and they are a great team! Its the initial bite of the mod bug!
Add headers, exhaust and chip and you can add approach 400RWHP!

By P/P I assume you mean plenum pull. No! I mean port and polish myself. A freind of mine let me barrow his ported and polished plenum and injector housings off his Z thats pushing 429rwhp just so I could study them a bit. It's not rocket science thats for sure. I'm not rich so I have to do as much as I can myself.

Yep. And you can see it. I can already tell its going to be allot of manual labor. And I'm going to go through allot of 80 grit flapper wheels. I bought a nice 160psi craftsman 33 gallon air compressor and a craftsman professional 3/8 air ratchet. I've already got a 1/2 and 3/4 drive chicago pnumatics impact wrenches but I never had a compressor to use them with. I don't know how I ever got along without them. OMG its gonna make working on my cars so much faster than manually turning ratchets. Very very nice.

I'm of the general notion that these cars are just that... cars. It's quite hard to screw something up so bad that you can't fix it. They should be worked on and used, not just collector pieces. That being said, I think it takes balls to start screwing with plenum and IH geometry in an un-fixable way without ever having done anything like this before. My hat is off to you DIY P/P'ers.
