grand daddy of all drag races this weekend, starts Weds., U.S. Natl's in Indy. Ray Barton invited me to go but i've got our race track booked this Thurs. for a private test session for a bunch of my customers. it's an awesome event if you can make it.

I feel the same way. I hope my car is still a yellow 95 ZR-1. It's been since Oct 3 of last year that I last saw it. I vaguely remember it. Can't wait--just in time to return home to another hurricane threat.

Home Run Inn Pizza in Addison,IL is one of our own ZR-1 guy and is close to Marc's shop (same town).
We could possibly get Marc to show after Ted pick's up his Z.

If you haven't been to an NHRA event, Indy is the one to go to for sure, but I would suspect your anxious to get the new "Beast" home.

Enjoy that sucker, maybe I'll get a ride in it someday.

I feel your pain. Marc had mine for 5 months with porting and headers plus a few misc items. But I must say the work is exellent. Saw your Z there both times. Drove mine home the 825 mi. with a big grin !! Tim

Please don't get my statement wrong.It's well worth the wait. Marc is very meticulous and the final product is proof.
My "PROJECT" was and still is a bit of a challenge. "We boldly went where some others wouldn't " ........was that a quote from Star Trek ?

Frank...that's why my car is there too. I know the man has mad skills. I have wanted this since I went to my first Gathering and got a ride or two in modified ZR-1s. Marc being meticulous is an understatement. This car will be perfect!!!

Two choices Lombard or Thorndale & Arlington Hts Rd. both are huge.
