Anyone else see this? $1,100 for a 6-piston setup that sounds like it will fit under most wheels. And it uses C5/6 pads. Any opinions on this as an upgrade? I'd assume it is not as heavy duty as a larger caliper, but if it's on par with something like the older Brembo 4-pistons, that's not bad at all for the price.

It doesn't say anything about the rotors used though.
Bob,
I did you end up going with this Baer setup? If so, how are they?

Rich

I bought these and they look great but
they rubbed against my after-market 17" rims.
I switched back to GS calipers and the Baers
sit in my garage until.............

I did buy them. They clear my AFS 5-spokes, though by a thin margin. You can't fit a finger between the caliper and the spoke.

They are a nice upgrade at this point. I had lots of initial hassle though. But by now they should include a properly sized banjo bolt. Also, buy a decent brake pad to use. The included ceramic pad is terrible.

Rich, if you want to check them out in person, let me know.

I may take you up on that. I am not really happy with the stock brakes and was browsing the site when I ran across your post. Maybe we can hook up some weekend. Not going to the Corvette Cruise in Manasas on Aug 8th are you?

I didn't know about it. I wasn't planning on going, I'm not really into the car show scene. I'll see though. I could stop by Chik-Fil-A in Dulles some Friday night if you ever get out that way. There may be better roads to take a quick spin on there without so much traffic than in Manassas.
