Typically called a reverse lid. I'm running one in the race car. You have to cut the shroud. It's supposed to come with a template.

I've been looking for another for a while. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

Ted,

I'll be hanging on this this as my shroud is already butchered. I might start looking for a stock shroud in case I decide to try a different intake. Thanks for the info.

You're welcome. I have not seen any information on it so I was curious and figured I would ask the experts here. All I did was take it off to put the SAMCO and the open cover without the vents; I have been running the AMSOIL foam element on mine.

Cool and crap Polo-1 just had one of those stock shrouds pretty cheap when he parted that Z out. But are not the shrouds the same except for the stickers for the belt routing and stickers for the emissions?

Hey post up some pics of the car, We know youve been doing a lot of work on it lately Mahallo

I have 1, Performance International
Company no longer
Took it off, car is lowered @ I thought it mght suck up water in rain, that I try to avoid anyways
It gets air from under the front end, in front of radiator
Hole necessary in shroud
Will connect with stock accordian hose
Went with a stock back @ open front with K@N
Covered up hole with metal plate that is under stock back so you don't see it

Goldcylon,

I would imagine shrouds are the same and I sure hope so. Here are a few pics and as you can see I still have some ways to go and working on it as I have a chance. Currently insulating the floors before putting in my new carpet and also installing the headers while making my custom Lokar dipstick. I'll be sure to post pics once I'm done; I have body kit going on it too.

Stainless hoses will replace these red push-locs as well as for the catch can.

I just received my bowtie underhood plate by CT Machining; as everyone knows, Carter200's work is first rate and a super nice piece.

Aloha,

Well, if Jeff is running one on his race car, then I know this must be pretty good.
