That's what I did for my header install. I have a friend in Chicago I visited with. Took two days, one for the header install (it's an all-day job) and one for the dyno tune and other assorted fixes he did.

You should call him to see though, I'm sure it depends on what you want done and how busy he is at the time.

The lead time for my headers was that long too, but I knew I was coming so he ordered them with plenty of time to install the AIR pipes and get them coated beforehand.

Glad you got your car back the way you wanted it Keith. I'm thinking about gears, but would probably go with 3.73:1's. Since your Watsons have AIR tubes, why pull the AIR pump?

i called and asked about rear end gears and he said two days. he said what people usualy do is come up and get a hotel for a night or two so they dont have to drive back home and then turn around and drive back to the shop.

Cool beans Keith, your local tire store manager should be happy now.

One more thing....all of yous guys modding your Z's combined with a trip to BG is gonna put me over the edge with mod fever....my wife'll kill me by the time I'm done, but I'll just tell her it was routine maintenance that had to be done.

Hi Keith--Glad you were so satisfied with Marc's work. I have been taking my car to him for lots of things since he has been in business, and I never fail to be impressed with his knowledge, honesty, and caring for the cars in his trust. A good friend and a great ZR-1 expert and enthusiast. I recommend anyone with a desire to get their Z's in top condition contact Marc. -- Bob

hmmmmmmm

Gotta agree about Marc, I only wish I lived 13 hours CLOSER! I have met him twice and purchased items from him a few times.

What a class individual!
