Thanks, but no thanks.
I will stick with the DRM coil-overs which retain the FX3. Whenever I hit a road where the suspension seems to have difficulty coping, I simply turn the switch a time or two, and problem solved. Why give that up? Now that this one has been set, I no longer need to fiddle with ride height. The new gear looks nice, but solves a problem that I do not have, and creates one that I do not currently have. Serious track folk likely will feel differently, as well as those who want to drop their height, and raise it, and drop it................. I am sure some will love it, so your efforts are appreciated! ![]() Marty |

Do these utilize the magnetorheological shock absorber technology developed by GM? If not, does anyone know if the early or current crop of Corvette MSRC shocks can be adapted to the C4s? If so has anyone done so? The suspension on my Z06 is nothing short of amazing in terms of compliance over bumps and the breadth of performance options. --Bob

Here are the initial install...these coil overs needed NO modification to the car.[emoji41][emoji41][emoji4]
As for uses, this is again focused on those who want to have a track suspension and control while lowering thier car. We arent trying to recreate the wheel or replace it...just make it easier and cheaper if you want it.20180629_134749.jpg20180629_120215.jpg20180629_124130.jpeg20180629_114421.jpg Sent from my SM-G955U using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app |

No reinforcement of the front upper shock mounts?
They weren't designed to take the loads they'll see with the coilover mod? Pretty sure Callaway reinforced them on their conversions? Big John? |

AGAIN,....not for those who wish to keep FX3...a system that many people have that arent working. So in light of the difficulty in getting parts for the FX3 system(a few have came into the shop that the owner didnt even know they werent connected, werent working ect)
Also this setup would be good for those with Base C4 corvettes-that may not have the FX3 system.[emoji41] [emoji6] . No need to disparage an idea or a design because you dont need it.
