Thanks Paul, this is my next upgrade. My stock lights are pathetic.

Frank,

HID kit can be installed pretty easily. Looks great (color temp of your choice) and super bright. LED bulbs I tried just didn't light up the road ahead. LED kit I used cost around $70.

Same problem with the stock fog lights , I think they are useless and were put on just for show.

Post up information on your HID kit please.

(Paraphrasing Forest Gump): LED kits are like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get!

Seems like every hog, dog, and frog is packaging LEDs these days. Some R good...some R not!

My buddy -=Jeff=- and his assistant Daryl (aka GOLDCYLON) and I are in the throws of sorting the pieces of this puzzle out - research for the article series (first installment appearing in the 1st Q 2018 HOTB (January). And, at this time, I can't vouch for any particular kit (as yet) - tho one may exist that could in fact qualify. Instead, we're experimenting with discrete components (and circuits mods) and cherry-picking the ones that (generally) exceed the stock Lumens produced by incandescent bulbs AND claim to be constructed using known quality components.

Here's the daylight turn signal photo, and daylight tail lights. NOTE: before judging, I need to point out that in person the lights appear much brighter, but due to the fast camera shutter speed (auto) in the ambient (filtered sun) light, the lights appear significantly dimmer than in real life.

And, the quest continues....
