new to the delam business, help! there's a 1/2 in "halo" around my '95s windscreen (more like 1/8 in on top & mostly zero on the bottom. is that what delam looks like? will it get worse soon? is there an option to replace it with a stock '95 windshield (price?).

thanks, i'm a seller, don't want any misconceptions on this problem!

There is no way to correct the delamination, There are no spare NOS windshields available. If you do find someone willing to part with an original 95 NOS windshield in their stock you are looking at around 3k.

I would do this and then have it tinted with the lightest tint available.

If you are a seller, don't do this until the car is sold, use it as a negatiation tool. The buyer may rather have the original windshield even if there is some delam. Putting in a C4 glass is easy and can be done at any point. Replacing the with an original is almost impossible.

Is delamination something that is inevitable about our cars? And what does it look like?

Call it patina and have a nice day. It's only original once!
