Have a black 91.....Paint is solid, but, it's black and as you know it's not forgiving ...Car really does not need a compound but I hear it's good to polish first than wax....

Can anyone recommend a good polish and wax for a black car? Usually I just use what I can pick up in auto zone, Macguires usually..

I'm not bad with a buffer and I heard when you polish you should use the waffle style pad for polishing.....Anyone use the same?
