Re: New Member with New Ride
That's the one. I waited until it got under 24hrs left and called the guy. We came to an agreement and he took the listing down. Doing paperwork on it now. This is taking me back to my early 20's when all I could do is dream about them.
Oh yeah, I am leaving it as is for now. Not sure I really want to change anything and ruin the documentation.

Re: New Member with New Ride
Good luck with that!! These cars seem to lure you in. You start out with the satisfaction of a 7,000 rpm rush, and then you here stories of how easy (Not cheap) it is to get more. I haven't really scratched that itch but have accumulated some parts. Soon, very soon.

Re: New Member with New Ride
What a nice white bleeder. Corey is a great guy. But, 32v is right. Don't get in a hurry 'cause he's not. But, it will be done right the first time. He's done a lot of work on my car and not once has there been an issue. And email is DEF the best way to reach him. Cool cat to know.
Hey, I'm in the process of planning a Texas ZR-1 gathering in the next couple of weeks. We'll meet on a Sat in Buffalo (on 45) at a park and just bring a cooler with food and drinks and we'll hang out and talk cars, eat, drink...maybe smoke some cigars if that's your thing. We'd love to meet you and see your car. We did it a couple of years ago and it was really nice relaxing day. Wife's are welcome and it's close enough to pretty much everyone to make it a day trip. Look under the Club Regional Areas of the forum under Southwest Region and I'll post the details. I'll also post on CF here shortly. Hope to see you and your ride there.

Re: New Member with New Ride
Nice ride congrats...You Texas guys are making me jealous....You must have some nice open roads right in your own backyards.....Here in the tri state area its an urban jungle...
Sometimes I call my vettes the 7-11 cars, meaning.out before 7 am or out past 11 pm....Thats when you will see me behind the wheel of my Corvettes.......Theres no such thing as Sunday drive anymore unless your out before 7am and get your car back in the garage by 11 am... How about the Royals Car Show (really a big cruise-in, no judging) at Lime Rock on Sunday the 29th? It'd be a nice ride for ya and get out of the city and into the country! I'll be there, Big John too, look me up up if ya decide to go. How about some of you other NE ZR-1ers? Doug |

we have a get together in the old OBI parking lot.....It's on every Sunday .. Meadowbrook parkway all the way out towards jones beach.....Pretty much a straight shot on ocean pkwy......Lots of spots to really open her up since your just surrounded by water on both sides... I believe the Long Island exotic car club meet there plus hundreds of other really sharp cars....They get there early and its on till like 11-12 in the afternoon .. |

I am in the Woodlands with a 1994 Black on Black ZR-1. Maybe I'll see yours out and about.
