When doing my research everyone I talked to said they go down the road very well. Much much better than you would expect a 55 model vehicle.

Very nice Jim. Is that 6V92 Detroit the 2 stroke diesel that is both turbocharged and supercharged?
If so my Uncle has a similiar setup in his coach. His looks exactly like a Greyhound buse with the 2 steering wheels, a set of duals for drive wheels and then a set of single wheels for load capacity.
His Detroit is one of the last engines to have ZERO electronic engine controls. Late 70's early 80's. I think his may be a V8 which would make it an 8V92, but essentially the same as the 6V92.

I was impressed with solid acceleration and crisp upshifts.

I love the looks of your tow rig.

EDIT Sound like you got the top power 6V92 with 350hp@2100rpm and 1,020lb/ft torque@1300rpm. The V8 doesnt appear to make much more torque @ 1,250 lb/ft.

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure it is going to sound great, run great and throw some smoke!
