Just a thought.....one never hear's the question on how many mile's are on that 63-67 Corvette's. I really don't think it matter's , again providing the car has been taken care of.

Thanks Frank you hit it right on the head, no one cares about the miles on a 67, at what point does milage not matter any more.

So new motor had 19k on it when I bought the car. When we swapped motor, 474 had ~52k miles on it so motor now had 36k on it. And I've put 10k on 458 w Pete's intake cams. I think he may have taken pics of cams when he installed exhaust cams this year.

When we looked at the motor during the install, the intake cams still looked like the pic you have above. No wear indication so I feel pretty comfortable w using the Castrol GTX Diesel 15W-40 that I have been using for the last several years.
I did not know you had all that going on
Very impressive

I use AMSOIL 10W40.........I just buy it online and have it delivered

Just my opinion. You'll get a lot of them...
Concure 100% ......Maintenance is the key
And......the ZR-1s/LT5s are actually very easy to maintain even if you have to remove the Plenum once in a while to check on things (seems everything is right under the Plenum)

And....that is why I have eliminated TB Coolant for quick and easy Plenum removal (on both a 90' and 91').
