Unhook the cables?It take about 2 minutes to gain access to the chip.Disconnect the battery,remove the 2 10MM nuts on the left side of the ECM,lift the ECM out of the bracket,flip the ECM over and you will see 4 7MM bolts holding a small panel in place.The battery is the only thing you need to disconnect.
