Greg,

Sounds like you won't be needing any longer studs.

Greg,

I have a set of OEM ZR-1 rear A-molds that have been cut and widened 1". They fit fine, although the parking brake cables have to be tied back to prevent rubbing against the inside of the tires. There is definitely 1" of extra clearance on the inside.

Jep,
I have also measured a stock OEM wheel and realize that these wheels will be 1/2 inch inside compared to them. From what I have been getting in responses it seems a 8" backspace is fine. And thanks for your information. Knowing yours are 1" deeper inside (I'm assuming its extended inside) confirms I will be fine. The face on mine are really close to the stock OEM wheels measurements. So they should line up nicely to the fenders.

I will get around to putting these on next week, so then I will be able to see for sure how they fit.

Thanks for the info. And thanks to everyone for their input.

Greg

Since I put the wheels on I thought I would update this post for future reference. Below is a picture of the wheels I was asking about fitting on the car. They are the Ronal LZ-VT wheels. Fronts are 18x9.5 Rears are 18x12. Fronts fit perfectly, rears sit in about 3/8 of an inch or so. Not that bad though. Nothing rubs, they just bolted right up. I like the look. Something different.

Picture taken Saturday afternoon on a nice 74 degree beach day.
It was a nice day to take the Z for a cruise.

Thanks everyone...
