The owner of the parts is committed to marketing them soon. He's waiting on me.

I won't have the molds done until Feb-March time frame. I don't know what price range he intends to market them at. I have to get them done first. I have a shop full of cars that are a first priority at the moment.

The second design is a one piece unit. Others with more knowledge may chime in.

Re: WTB 49th Street rockers
Brett is working on a used set of what I believe to be early-version 49th Street rockers for me.
These are the rocker panels off the white '92 that Kb7tif (illenema on CF) owned. He has posted in this thread with links to photos of his car with them installed and here it is: It seems there was an early version of 49th Street rocker panels; the small forward section where the emblem is placed was made separately, then attached (not very well) to the rocker panel. This small piece was missing from the passenger side of the set I obtained. The driver’s side piece was fixed to the rocker panel by ONLY one screw under the emblem. Illenema started a thread on CF searching for a replacement piece back in Sep 2008. In that thread -=Jeff=- posted that he recognized these as 49th Street rockers sold by ChromeCo in the early ‘90s. Here is a link to that thread: http://forums.*************.com/c4-zr-1-discussion/2121251-49th-street-rockers.html. Of course it has been censored because it is this forum's long-standing policy to do so, for some reason. Here are a couple pics the current owner of the car sent when he removed the rockers. Brett is making the replacement piece for the passenger side rocker, and will then make one-piece molds from which he will produce the set for my car. There have been several threads on the other forum with discussion of "reasonable price" for repros. Here is a link to one of those CF threads: http://forums.*************.com/c4-zr-1-discussion/2552924-49th-street-rockers-available.html Again, I'm sure that link has been censored because it is this forum's long-standing policy to do so, for some reason. I believe the 49th Street rockers sold at $745 per pair in 1996. IMO that might be a great price to shoot for if perfect, one-piece molds are achieved. More to come as progress is made. Re: WTB 49th Street rockers
that does look like a zr-1 that was modded in the late 90's. I remember seeing a few of those that were done that way when i first had my car. great looking car
