Pure eye candy, always great to see quality work with no drama. I heard that a LT5 402 works better in a black car Cant wait till it is all put together, your are going to have one serious ZR-1.

Phil does he sand it to smooth it out or does he use a filler.....or do the pics just make it look mirror smooth?

By the way, I believe the last of the Stillwater Crew wrapped up this week by training new associates in WI.

Lee,
I stripped and sanded down smooth everything except the cam covers before sending them out to Greg. The cam covers went out earlier with the heads which Greg took care of stripping and prepping.
Stripping the plemum was a real bitch, took several applications of aircraft paint stripper, wire brushing and media blasting. Then hit with 150 grit in the sander until the casting grain went away. If I spent a few more hours on it I could have had it polished out. However that would have been to flashy for my tastes.

Thanks Ricky, I'm afraid Jersey physics don't apply anywhere else in the know universe. Here in Virginia its has to be red or you are leaving HP on the the table.
