The mufflers are 3 inch straight through with packing around them for a total diameter of 4 inch. They wont affect power output. They did quiet the system, but not in a tremendous way.
Its hard to actually determine noise level differences, because Im inconsistent as to my tolerances. The exhaust was quiet and awesome this past Saturday afternoon, but this morning to work it was annoying.

It's symetrical. I don't believe there's an up or down side to it. I put the sticker on the same side as the "samco" sticker in case I wanted a cleaner look, I could just flip it over.

The SLP claw is slightly easier to install than the factory air box. It's a nice quality piece. I had mine powder coated to match the engine and have been working on a cold air scoop for into to get air from under the front bumper. Here's what I have so far.
