I have the Kuhmo's on my car and they have been good in the rain and pretty good for an autocross tire as well.

I just replaced my tires with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, which come in the correct sizes for a ZR1, and I am totally impressed - This tire has great grip in corners, traction off the line, is quiet and rides very smooth. An added plus is the highly unusual tread design and phenomenal wet traction/no hydroplaning in heavy tropical storm rains.
They are very inexpensive. I paid less than $800 for four shipped to my door and have a tread wear rating of 280! Here is a YouTube vid about them: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyWMTiXPbLQ
