...Which is exactly why I mentioned it. You can rotate it too far CW and the stop tab will find a hole and make you think all is well. Then you go to put the belt on and suddenly you find yourself doing a lot!! BTDT. However, there was NO WAY to get the belt to fit if the tensioner is "that way". So, I would guess if you got the belt to fit, you must be OK - especially if there is some reserve spring travel in the tensioner after you got the belt on.

Chit happens...Oh, how I know that!

In my case, it wasn't the threads that were leaking, but rather the oil was blowing through from the inside of the connector, past the weather pack gasket to spray everything in the vicinity. It is a common problem, according to Marc H. But, I'd not seen a write up on it, and so I thought I would mention it in case someone else developed a "common problem" of their own!
