It really sounds good...outside the vehicle. It is a bit too loud for my taste tho. So, I'll dyno it and make some passes at the track, and then see about the noise.

Re: Aaaaahhh...What a sweet sound!!
The MF muffs were more a matter of expedience than plan: I had them already, so I'm using them for the time being.
Waxers vs. Warriors...I'm primarily the warrior type, so performance gets top billing - willing to put up with some racket, as long as it is not obnoxious! So, I'm leaving that to my next project: check out what others find works and use their examples as a model, or blatantly copy it - which ever gets me there quicker/cheaper! To that end, I'm impressed with Bob G's setup in particular - very nice sound around town, and the one time he blipped the throttle on his 427 LT5 (as I followed him at Bowling Green last spring) it really barked! P.

Re: Aaaaahhh...What a sweet sound!!
That looks like a work of art! I can only imagine how it sounds with a 415.
By the way, is that a one off Jerry designed spare tire delete?

Re: Aaaaahhh...What a sweet sound!!
Thanks, Hans. Pete did all the technical work on the long block, n Bob G too. My part was limited to the general assembly of the top end, and the portingan of course.
We really miss our FBI brother - out there where Zs run all friggin year long! P.
