90's and 91's both only had a thin plastic cover under the door panel, didn't really do much of anything I have never noticed anything "special" in the 91 doors over the 90 doors.

Re: Door Change(s) Between '90 and '91 ?
Scott, I guess I'm sorry to hear that the 95 must go, but I also hope that there is nothing catastrophic going on. I hope that you get her value when you sell her.
On a more positive note....a ZR-1 is a ZR-1, better to have one than not to have one!

Re: Door Change(s) Between '90 and '91 ?
Sorry to hear you had to sell the 95. I can tell you I've been very happy with my 91 for many years. I've driven in a 95 often and there was a difference, the biggest being the amount of road noise that did NOT find its way into the passenger compartment in the 95. The 95 interior also seemed to be better put together. At the time I drove in the 95 it had 40K miles while my 91 only had 3K miles on it. My 91, however, had rattles, buzzes, and other random interior sounds. Marc Haibeck added sound deadening material in the doors, console, rear deck, and foot wells. His observation was it now felt as tight and rode every bit as well as a 95. His top end package didn't hurt either. I've put 9K miles on it since and it is still as tight as it was after the "adjustments". Enjoy, like Tom said, "a ZR-1 is a ZR-1, better to have on than not have one!"

Re: Door Change(s) Between '90 and '91 ?
I think at least some of the reduced noise and rattle is a result of the softer spring rates. The car crashes around less on the road with the '92+ springs.
The only interior changes I can think of from '90 to '91 are the changed seat controls, and the changed valet key.

Also trying to downsize my gut. Went on a diet and stopped drinking beer. Can you imagine having to sell your ZR-1 and not drinking while you do it? Quote:

Re: Door Change(s) Between '90 and '91 ?
Okay, good deal....on the Dave Ramsey thing way to be man!
he would shoot me if I ever called his show! I try to follow along with his program....but, I could never justify to him why I can't just have a ZR-1 ( paid for too ) to drive and live in the NYC/Metro area....he just wouldn't understand. So I violated rule number 1, I bought a new DD on time, but I kind of like my 08 Cobalt Sport.....and the 1.9% GMAC deal didn't hurt either! On the beer thing?....No, no f*&king way! Except, if I had to downsize to keep fitting in the 90's sport seats....they motivate me to keep the weight in check!
