Pretty slick idea you have there; I think you are right and less likely to affect strenth of the case. I guess I might want do the clutch pack too while I'm at it. Thanks for the idea.

Is the GM service manual for a zr1 different than a regular 91 vette?? I see the Lt5 supplement all over ebay and no ZR1 manuals.

I have been looking for or equivilant GM sealent for the rear end #9636067 and none of the parts stores can cross refernce it and the dealer dosent show it. Is it a silicone or ureathene? Any imput or experiance on this would be appriciated?

Dave, I use a sealant called "The Right Stuff". Use it on LT1 intakes and LS1 stuff and have never had an issue with it.
