I can't believe what I am reading for the Carlisle weather forecast for Thursday thru Sunday.....are you ready for this???

Thursday.......Sun & Clouds H-76* L-58*
Friday...........Sun...............H-75* L-56*

I'm coming up Friday morning from South Jersey. This will be my first time attending. Is there a certain time when traffic is at its worst that I should avoid? I read somewhere that I need to be there by ten in order to guarantee my spot with the group in the fun field? I plan to leave by 7 so I should get there by 10.

Traffic varies from year to year. I've hit some time where it's stop and go the entire way other times I've hit nothing the entire way off the turn pike to the field. While it's true there's a time where our parking becomes general parking but we're pretty good about keeping out the riff raff

Don't know which route you are taking, but Marty (DRM500RUBYZR-1) and myself and whoever else is interested are meeting at the service plaza on the PA Pike I76 westbound located at the 307 mile marker. If you come up PA N476 to the pike, you will be at the 324 mile marker, then travel 17 miles to the plaza. We will be there for 8AM and probably leave 8:15AM or after. Let us know if you want to meet up with us.....

I know exactly where that is. Would love to meet up. You guys are leaving on Thursday though correct? I couldn't get off from work. I'm going to leave on Friday morning. I go up 206 to 130 and then get on the pa turnpike from the beginning.

Yes we are leaving Thursday AM.....you should have smooth sailing that way depending on what time you leave. Even if you get into traffic from the 358 through the 333 (476), once you get past that, it should be pretty much wide open. Again safe travels.....see you on Friday....

We are here at the fairgrounds in Carlisle! Just a heads up to all. The gates are open at 7 tomorrow. What they meant in the program is the "show" starts at 10.

Try to get there early as all our spots open up at 10 each day to the general public

Again...the gates are open early!
