Re: Can I get a lift?
Ok, pulling the trans this weekend, if you don't have a lift...you need one. This is a joke now vs working on your back. Also have a trans jack I got from Greg Smith, only 144.00 delivered and 1000lb capacity.

Re: Can I get a lift?
The only down side is, even if the jack is at its lowest point, with the trans and shifter on the jack, there would be no way to get it out from under the car.....that is without lifting it off the jack and to the floor.
Should clarify: with my garage clearance.

Re: Can I get a lift?
Hmm... that's because you went with a Direct Lift.
...just kidding - even the Bend Pak's are made in China now. Do you always release the hydraulic pressure and let the weight rest on the mechanical stop? If you leave it hanging by the cables, you could get a little bleed-off. Tom (been lurking, finally registered even though I'm sans ZR-1) |
