Aurora: While you have everything togather...mark with a pen where you want to trim the duct on the air filter housing end...take everything apart...slide the duct onto the housing...put a clamp around it and trim it using the clamp as your guide-it works well. Your clamps look great!

By hand I have to go sloooow to get it less wavey. I like TommyL's idea better so I'll go over to the car & work the duct there instead of at my shop.

Hey Bob, looks very good! Nice powder coat job & clean motor room! Seeing yours makes me think I should spend alittle more time cleaning and less time driving...well maybe just more time cleaning inbetween outtings!

As an aside...my Z saw it's first snow this past weekend. Just flurries going down to Kerbeck Chevy in Atlantic City...one of my crusin buds picked up his new Z51 vert C6. Man that car is sweet! It's got the active sus. pkg. and that thing rides like a baby carriage and is it ever stuck to the road! Only thing 60+ K $ is steep by me, that & the car is quieter than mine...sounds like a caddy...no noise from the pipes at all! It was funny in the snow flurries, which were heavy at times, the manager @ Kerbeck's said he took all our VIN's so we couldn't say the car has never seen snow at trade in time!

Tom, You should have given me a heads up that you were heading down to AC. You past my house, I'm between exit 105 and 109 on the GSP about 2 miles off either exit. Would have liked to meet you and check out your car. My bro-in-law also has a new C6 blk/blk I'll stick with myZR1 anyday. I'll hope to catch you on the next trip down. Rick

Rick, may I suggest you list your location in your profile so others then know how close they are or will be to you. It is your choice, but knowing where other ZR-1 owners live helps to get them together if they so choose.
