What about Amsoil synthetic oil (10W-30) for the ZR-1?
Any experiences? Thank you for your answers. |

I use their marine grade racing oil in my boat SC big block chev boat motor and it is great for that application with fast recovery of PSI on the gauge after a hard run (five min @ FT)
In my ZR-1 I have Mobile 1 but I think next change will be to Amsoil AMO 10W-40 See >>> http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...dern%20oil.htm ![]() Last edited by WB9MCW; 02-05-2010 at 03:56 AM. |

Or if you are interested in ALL fluids....see this thread........ http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8274 Quote:
RADIATOR COOLANT Once and for all...For Zerex the first gallon is called Regular Green Coolant (GM 1825M), the second gallon is called Original Formula (GM 1825M) and (now shown) G-05 Formula (GM 1825M). Zerex ZXRU1 is 50-50 and Zerex ZX001 is undiluted. The third gallon is NAPA (GM 1825M) coolant. ![]() ![]() ![]() OIL FILTER I concur with Hammer on all fluids cited above except I am using the Mobile 1 M1-207 oil filter BRAKE FLUID For brake fluid I am using Dot 4. And...I am going to install this oil drain plug in my differential.
