My fronts only have about 2,000 miles but they are several years old.

I might just transfer the 2 fronts to my C5 and get 4 new (of a current) tire for the Z.

I am pretty sure Goodyear stopped making the F1 Supercar in our tire sizes in around 2004-2005. So NOS might be a better descriptor than "new". You can have the person selling them check the DOT code though, to know exactly how old they are.

You are correct, I meant new like never driven on with the stickers on them.

I did ask about the dates but the seller has decided to keep the tires.

Honestly, I think I'm better with Fresh Rubber anyway.

You know 2 Candians that are sitting on a shelf

These tires do have a shelf life (as do all).That can be helped somewhat by wrapping the tires well in plastic and keeping them in a cool and dry place.
