I just bid $150 on a set of used LT5 spark plug wires.
What the Heck!! Why are some of us paying up to $500 for a set of spark plug wires? Maybe we can send a set to China and have them copy them exact. On a large group buy i bet we could get them for $35. then every time i open my hood i can see those white letters."corvette LT5".

OK, I just got OUTBID on USED spark plug wires. I want to bid more but my wife will kill me. They're at $160 + $27 shipping and there is 3 days left in the auction. Maybe I will buy a set of te Delco replacements and take them to the famers market and find the guy that can paint my name on a piece of rice and have him paint "Corvette LT5" on them.

Eric, are your OE wires missing? That's why you're buying this used stuff?
JMHO I replaced my OE wires when I did my injectors and I used a set of magnecore's that I bought on e-bay. They were about 130.00 w/shipping. As Jeff says the stock replacements from GM are just fine too. I don't even miss the "corvette LT5" logo any longer. They have been on there since 9/05, and they work fine on my car. Tom

When I bought my '92 in '99 with only 23k on the car I pulled and boxed the originals and replaced them with Magnacore. It might be an incentive when I sell it years down the road.

Re: I just bid $150 on a set of used LT5 spark plug wires.
The reason nobody is making this stuff on a large scale is because G.M. owns the patent rights on the parts,Once G.M. relaxes the patent somebody can start making these parts.Personally,I cant wait for this to happen, all the a$$holes that have been raping us on parts will get little payback.Once these parts are reproduced to exact OEM specs just how much is that $500 set of OEM wires going to be worth?
