One of the ALDL pinouts is the ground. I believe it is the "A" pinout, or the upper right one when looking straight at it. You can use a short length of wire or a paper clip to ground whatever pin (C in this case) to it.

Yes Aurora,the A pin is the first on the right upper....I must do this operation with the key turn at first position?

Max, sorry for not being complete! My bad.

Yes as Aurora40 said you can use the "A" pin in the ALDL as it is the system ground. Or if you wish you could use the seat track as a place to ground on to.

Tom, no problem...i have done the test and now the chip is clear...i also control the actuator and when you turn the key in first position the actuator gear move it.
In next days i'll try the car and i can say if there is some other error.

Max, an error will show up immediately, as the system self checks at the key on position. So if the light is currently out, you have no codes.

But the shocks (for me) are so much soft. If the controller is in tour the shocks are soft (with the car stop)OK??
If i turn the controller on perf and i push on the hood the shocks are always soft too, at the same way...
I think that my shocks are toast...what do you think??

The shocks are a progressive system. When parked, the settings are on the softest setting. The big thing is when driving at around 160 Kmh, does the front end seem to float around? But as the shocks age they do deteriorate even when not in use.

The controller makes the shock settings stiffer every 20 mph speed increase.
Checking the shocks with the vehicle stationary is not a good test as you have found.

Ok guys...Today is a sunny day here, after a week of big rain...i'll try the car in next days, i think that my shocks are toast also if the Z have low mileage, but always 20years!!!
