Default recoating/plating stock top end bolts anyone done it?

I have used the SS bolts but I was thinking about putting my spare engine up for powder coat treatment and I was thinking of using the stock hardware, does anyone know of a good place to send these bolts for black oxide coating like the factory did. I have plenty of hardware so no worries about striped heads

Not the same but Gun Blueing looks good & is pretty durable, might want to give it a try, Johnny. I use it in similar situations.

You dont have to go to the hassle of sending them out, bead blast the bolt heads and blow some satin black on them.Ive got an air brush Ive used for this and it works like a charm.Once the bolts are painted bake them in an oven at about 150 degrees for 1/2 an hour and your good.
