I did both as a pre-emptive play. I found that clearing the codes was the hardest part of the whole deal, for me. It seemed to me that timming the grounding and un-grounding was my problem. I used a door bell as my way of doing the grounding and un-grounding so I could use my watch's second hand to time the events. Tom

Jeff, No i did not get the codes. I tried but it look like it was giving me multiple codes. maybe a 42. i'm going to try again today.

OK, I checked the codes again and it is definitly is a code 42. any idea what a code 42 is?

Eric, do you have a FSM for your yr ZR-1?
If not I have a 90 Z so I have the 90 Helm FSM. I can call you with the info from the mnanual & try to get you going in the right direction. just a fwiw. Tom
