OK we tried again and asked for an agent on the new Concours program. Ended up with the same gal named Traci as b4. She said no way even on a ZR-1 20K vette policy does not meet 25 year old guidelines. When I questioned if she was an agent for the new policy she claimed she was.

I told her we had been told otherwise about the new program. She said get the name of the person who was stating such and to go from there.

Got a contact name?

Thanx -- Bryan

Sorry Bryan,

I have to wash my hads of them, Concours does not have a model year restriction......but this is not my product. C&S are a good company if you can get in but I am not sure how they are underwriting. Maybe things have changes but they have taken Zs before....maybe too high a loss ration for their taste I don't know.

My apologies.

Hey No biggie

Just wanting to save a few $$

Maybe someone else will chime in with a company that wants to insure us!

I did get a $320 estimate from Grundy so that was a slight improvement but I will wait until next fall renewal to move for only a $100 difference.

Plus my current policy won't let me drag race even if it is a club event. Not sure about Grundy on that one either.

With our great forum here if a smart company got involved they could get a lot of us if they came up with a good program for about $100 per 10K coverage I bet.

Good news travels fast.

Sounds like we won't need insurance for drag racing since it looks like
no track time for The Gathering.

Check State Farm.
I have my home & 4 vehicles with them. Both Corvettes fall into the collector/classic guideline (over 10 years old) and I have both insured on agreed/stated value. With the drop in street prices the 90 Z is probably worth double its street value should it be totalled in an accident which is pretty ridiculous. Restrictions on this insurance are very workable: no driver under 26 and can't be used as a daily driver (work or school). No real mileage restriction but company has an expectation of low miles driven per year which is the case for me ... my 97 C5 just recently turned 20K and my 90 Z, which does have over 100K, hasn't seen many miles this year. Matter of fact it's on jackstands waiting to be put back together (Jeffvette, where are my parts?) Full coverage on both Vettes combined is just over $550 annually ... I'm not complaining !!!
